Case Studies

We’ve chosen three case studies that demonstrate the work we do with our clients. We love developing bespoke programmes that evolve with the businesses we serve. Clients usually find us when there is a situation or conflict that needs expert and sensitive intervention. Together we see how how resources can be put to better use when there is an investment in relationships that moves beyond the individual agenda, and understands the workplace as a community.

Ottolenghi

We have been working with Ottolenghi since 2017. We began helping talented individuals find their place in the business as well as supporting people through interpersonal conflict. We discussed bringing these skills into the business so that they could become part of the culture. As a result one of the Directors participated in our one year Dialogue Road Map practitioner training in 2020. Since then we have developed an experiential training package consisting of three 2 day modules for anyone with Leadership responsibilities.

Module 1 – How are we communicating with each other? Taking responsibility for what we say and how we say it. Another way of expressing ourselves: The Dialogue Road Map

Module 2 – How do we process conflict? Applying the Dialogue Road Map to interpersonal conflict

Module 3 – How do we facilitate our teams? Taking a facilitative approach to leadership and managing

It’s a joy to see how the workplace culture has integrated the Dialogue Road Map so that the ‘pressure cooker moments’ which are inevitable in the hospitality industry are attended to with clear, calm communication.

Accuracy UK

We met one of the Partners in 2019 who was impressed and moved by what the Dialogue Road Map has to offer. Since then we have provided training and consultancy to the Accuracy Team. Our service has included workshops about conflict at work, consultations about wellbeing in the workplace, inclusion, culture change. The key to our work is impartial, third party listening with compassion and rigor. This supports employees to speak in confidence and safety and provides an independent view of the workplace landscape to decision makers supporting their continued commitment to improving the workplace. We have also supported Accuracy in their Social Impact.

Wellington College

In 2013 we conducted an on-site audit of College life focussing on communication and relationships. Since presenting our findings Wellington College has committed to improving the quality of relationships in the workplace as well as with students. Beginning with a whole school talk in 2015, we have supported the college to build its own Dialogue Road Map facility in-house and have been an external resource for interventions that benefit from an impartial consultant. Since 2017 we have delivered Dialogue Road Map training in-house to over 20 staff, and 8 staff members have attended the one year Dialogue Road Map practitioner training.
